Pacific Beach Boardwalk

The two-mile boardwalk stretches from the Crystal Pier down past Belmont Park in South Mission Beach.  While walking/biking/jogging/meandering/skating down the boardwalk, you will pass beach bars, seafood shacks, cute coffee shops, vendors, surf shops, and beachfront cottages and apartment buildings.

La Jolla Cove/Children's Pool/Windansea Beach

Looking for something less crowded? About 15 minutes away - The Children's Pool Beach or Casa Beach is a small sandy beach area located at 850 Coast Boulevard, at the end of Jenner Street, in San Diego, California, United States. You will sometimes see seals sunbathing!
 

Sunset Cliffs Natural Park

Amazing views above the cliffs, you can also walk down to the beach in certain areas (the beginning of the cliffs, first parking lot). Watching the sunset is immaculate here.
