Every home comes with a crib or pack ‘n play, a high chair, and the kind of gear that usually takes up half a suitcase, beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, and a wagon for hauling it all down to the sand. We also stock the basics nobody wants to shop for on vacation night one: starter groceries, coffee, paper towels, dish soap. You land, you unpack clothes, and you’re at the beach within the hour.
This isn’t outsourced to a management company guessing at what families need. Rob and Stephanie have two kids of their own who grew up surfing these same breaks, so the gear list came from real trial and error, not a checklist written by someone who’s never traveled with a toddler.
Every home is also remodeled and air conditioned, with beds made in freshly laundered linens before you arrive. We choose quiet, residential streets over the more chaotic parts of Pacific Beach specifically so families can actually sleep, blackout curtains are available in select bedrooms for anyone dealing with early risers or stubborn nap schedules.
The bigger idea behind all of it: we live five minutes from most of these homes and manage them ourselves, so if something’s missing or something breaks, you’re not waiting on a call center, you’re texting the people who own the house.
